Eco-friendly and economical wood pellets
These wood pellets, manufactured to the DIN+ quality standard, guarantee a high-quality product. This product offers you high heating efficiency whilst minimising environmental impact. Thanks to their density and low moisture content, the wood pellets burn almost completely, which significantly limits particulate emissions and reduces ash and waste production.
The DIN+ standard also ensures that the product is perfectly suited to your stove, insert or wood-burning heating system, guaranteeing the smooth operation of your heating or cooking appliance.
We deliver our pellets using 19-tonne lorries. Delivery is available throughout France within 8–10 working days, subject to prior arrangement of a delivery date. Each pallet contains 65 plastic bags, each weighing 15 kg. Total weight of the pallet: 975 kg.
What are wood pellets and what are they used for?
Wood pellets are made from sawdust, making them an environmentally friendly and economical heating option for the winter. These wood pellets are used in specialised appliances, known as pellet stoves, which are easy to operate.
How do you choose your wood pellets?
Firstly, it is important to check the pellets’ certification, such as DINplus or ENplus certification, which guarantees their quality. Next, consider the type of wood used. Wood pellets made from hardwood, such as oak or beech, have a higher density and burn for longer. On the other hand, wood pellets made from softwood, such as pine, are more affordable but can produce more ash.
It is also important to check the moisture content of the pellets, which should be below 10 per cent to ensure efficient combustion. Finally, consider the size of the pellets, which must match the specifications of your pellet stove. By following this advice, you can choose high-quality wood pellets that provide you with cosy and economical warmth whilst respecting the environment.
Why are wood pellets cheaper?
Wood pellets can be cheaper than other types of firewood for several reasons. Firstly, the availability of wood can play a significant role. If there is an abundance of raw materials in the region where the pellets are produced, this can reduce production and transport costs.
Finally, wood pellets are often made from wood sourced from sustainably managed forests, which can also help to reduce costs. It is important to note that prices for wood pellets can vary depending on demand, region and season, but in general they are often considered a cost-effective heating option compared to other fuels.

Information on storage and use
- Storage in a dry place: Once the pallet has been delivered, store it in a place that is sheltered from the rain and well-ventilated (e.g. a carport, shed or under a canopy).
- Air circulation: Avoid direct contact with damp soil and leave a gap of at least 5–10 cm between the plant and the house wall.
- How to cheer properly: Use dry kindling and eco-friendly firelighters. Light the fire from the top down (low-emission lighting method).
- Soot-free combustion: Thanks to its low moisture content, the wood burns cleanly, leaves hardly any ash and is gentle on your chimney.
