Haut Allier Bois’s compressed wood briquettes are made exclusively from sawdust from the second stage of timber processing. The briquettes are made from sawdust and wood shavings without any additives, adhesives or binding agents.
100% natural wood for optimal combustion and exceptional calorific value! The compressed wood briquettes are made mainly from softwoods (100%).
They produce a beautiful flame thanks to the softwoods, which do not soot up the fireplace as their moisture content is very low.

Information on storage and use

  • Storage in a dry place: Once the pallet has been delivered, store it in a place that is sheltered from the rain and well-ventilated (e.g. a carport, shed or under a canopy).
  • Air circulation: Avoid direct contact with damp soil and leave a gap of at least 5–10 cm between the plant and the house wall.
  • How to cheer properly: Use dry kindling and eco-friendly firelighters. Light the fire from the top down (low-emission lighting method).
  • Soot-free combustion: Thanks to its low moisture content, the wood burns cleanly, leaves hardly any ash and is gentle on your chimney.
