Properties & Specifications

Residual moisture: < 20% (guaranteed ready to cook)
Calorific value: ca. 4,9 – 5,2 kWh/kg
Certification: DINplus / ENplus A1 & PEFC
Origin: 100 per cent sustainable European forestry
Form of supply: Sturdy wooden pallet, covered with weather-resistant film

Our softwood briquettes are an excellent alternative to conventional firewood. They have a very high calorific value (> 4.8 kWh/kg) and consistently produce very little ash.

Information on storage and use

  • Storage in a dry place: Once the pallet has been delivered, store it in a place that is sheltered from the rain and well-ventilated (e.g. a carport, shed or under a canopy).
  • Air circulation: Avoid direct contact with damp soil and leave a gap of at least 5–10 cm between the plant and the house wall.
  • How to cheer properly: Use dry kindling and eco-friendly firelighters. Light the fire from the top down (low-emission lighting method).
  • Soot-free combustion: Thanks to its low moisture content, the wood burns cleanly, leaves hardly any ash and is gentle on your chimney.
