This compressed log is very dense, which means it burns more quickly and gives off a higher heat output than others.
To light it, we recommend breaking the log into 3 or 4 pieces. If you have any difficulty, you can break it up using a hammer or a screwdriver.

Information on storage and use

  • Storage in a dry place: Once the pallet has been delivered, store it in a place that is sheltered from the rain and well-ventilated (e.g. a carport, shed or under a canopy).
  • Air circulation: Avoid direct contact with damp soil and leave a gap of at least 5–10 cm between the plant and the house wall.
  • How to cheer properly: Use dry kindling and eco-friendly firelighters. Light the fire from the top down (low-emission lighting method).
  • Soot-free combustion: Thanks to its low moisture content, the wood burns cleanly, leaves hardly any ash and is gentle on your chimney.
