Piveteau Wood Pellets
Properties & Specifications
Piveteau pellets, which have been proven to deliver high thermal output, are sourced from sustainably managed French forests (PEFC-certified) near the production sites. They are produced from sawdust and wood shavings from coniferous trees sourced from the Piveteau sawmills.
Production using exclusive technology
Piveteau pellets are produced using proprietary technology. The raw material is dried, crushed and then compressed under high pressure, without the addition of any binders or additives. The wood pellets are then dried using a low-temperature drying process, which preserves their calorific value (between 4.9 and 5.4 kWh/kg, depending on your equipment and the draught in your system) and ensures their purity. Their low moisture content guarantees excellent heating quality and reduces the production of tar and residual ash.
The benefits of Piveteau wood pellets
Ideal for all pellet heating systems, boilers, inserts and stoves, high-performance Piveteau pellets are 100% natural and are produced using green electricity. This environmentally friendly fuel:
- Is guaranteed to be 100% made from coniferous wood of French origin.
- Is produced using an exclusive low-temperature drying process.
- Offers high energy efficiency and superior heating comfort.
- Has a low ash content.
- Minimises soiling of your equipment.
Piveteau wood pellets are available in 15-kg bags or on pallets of 72 bags.

Information on storage and use
- Storage in a dry place: Once the pallet has been delivered, store it in a place that is sheltered from the rain and well-ventilated (e.g. a carport, shed or under a canopy).
- Air circulation: Avoid direct contact with damp soil and leave a gap of at least 5–10 cm between the plant and the house wall.
- How to cheer properly: Use dry kindling and eco-friendly firelighters. Light the fire from the top down (low-emission lighting method).
- Soot-free combustion: Thanks to its low moisture content, the wood burns cleanly, leaves hardly any ash and is gentle on your chimney.
