Discover Granuflam wood pellets
Discover Granuflam wood pellets, a heating solution manufactured entirely in France. The quality of Granuflam wood pellets is monitored throughout the entire production process to ensure you receive a reliable and consistent product. These pellets are made exclusively from French sawdust and strictly comply with the DINplus standard, which guarantees consistently high quality. Their energy efficiency is characterised by an optimal calorific value of ≥ 4.7 kWh/kg and a low ash content of ≤ 0.6 per cent, ensuring clean and efficient combustion for your heating system.
As a member of Propellet, the association that brings together stakeholders in the wood pellet market in France, our Granuflam brand offers standard-quality wood pellets made from a blend of French sawdust. They provide good value for money for price-conscious consumers.
The manufacturing process complies with DINplus certification standards, with drying carried out without the use of fossil fuels. The raw materials are compressed under high pressure, without any chemical additives, to preserve the product’s 100% natural origin. By-products, in particular sawdust and wood shavings, are sourced locally directly from French sawmills.
These wood pellets are produced from wood waste and shavings from the French timber industry. The recycling process transforms these by-products, which consist mainly of sawdust and residues from sawmill production, into an efficient fuel. This approach forms part of a circular economy, which enables wood waste to be given a second life whilst offering an economical heating solution.
Quality: our priority
Our commitment to quality is reflected in a strict and meticulous set of specifications, accompanied by continuous quality control throughout production. We have introduced a unique traceability system with a unique number on each bag, as well as continuous monitoring of raw materials. In addition to our DINplus certification, which meets precise quality indicators, our products are 100 per cent of French origin. Processing takes place at production sites in France. The majority of jobs associated with production are based in France. This DINplus certification and the French origin of our products demonstrate our commitment to quality and the development of the French timber industry, whilst at the same time supporting the local economy and reducing the environmental impact caused by the transport of raw materials.
The characteristics of Granuflam pellet bags
Granuflam pellets comply with several standards and are characterised by superior technical properties, with a calorific value of 4.7 kWh/kg, whilst their ash content remains below 0.6 per cent. This provides a fuel that, thanks to its practical packaging in 15 kg bags, is universally compatible with all domestic pellet stoves. All these characteristics guarantee optimal combustion and efficient heating performance for your home.

Information on storage and use
- Storage in a dry place: Once the pallet has been delivered, store it in a place that is sheltered from the rain and well-ventilated (e.g. a carport, shed or under a canopy).
- Air circulation: Avoid direct contact with damp soil and leave a gap of at least 5–10 cm between the plant and the house wall.
- How to cheer properly: Use dry kindling and eco-friendly firelighters. Light the fire from the top down (low-emission lighting method).
- Soot-free combustion: Thanks to its low moisture content, the wood burns cleanly, leaves hardly any ash and is gentle on your chimney.
