Our extra-dry (aged for at least 18 months) white oak and beech/hornbeam logs come from sustainably managed French forests in Franche-Comté, the Vosges and the Jura. White oak is a dense wood that produces a beautiful glow when burnt.
It offers optimal combustion for a high calorific value.
Burning beech or hornbeam produces beautiful, even flames with a higher calorific value than oak.
Wood types: White oak, beech, hornbeam
Origin: 100% French wood

Information on storage and use

  • Storage in a dry place: Once the pallet has been delivered, store it in a place that is sheltered from the rain and well-ventilated (e.g. a carport, shed or under a canopy).
  • Air circulation: Avoid direct contact with damp soil and leave a gap of at least 5–10 cm between the plant and the house wall.
  • How to cheer properly: Use dry kindling and eco-friendly firelighters. Light the fire from the top down (low-emission lighting method).
  • Soot-free combustion: Thanks to its low moisture content, the wood burns cleanly, leaves hardly any ash and is gentle on your chimney.
